He was born in 1971 in Akşehir and graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University in 1992. He completed a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Illinois (USA), where he was sent by the Ministry of Finance.He was appointed as a Tax Inspector in 1993. Between 2004 and 2005, he served as Regional Director of Revenues in Antalya; between 2005 and 2006, as Deputy Head of the Tax Inspectors Board; and between 2006 and 2007, as Group Head at the Revenue Administration.He lectured on Tax Law and the Turkish Tax System at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Akdeniz University. He also delivered seminars as a trainer for international participants under the OECD.In 2007, he resigned from public service and founded an audit firm. He is currently practicing as a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant.

He has a strong background in private equity, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and consumer products. John is also involved in sustainability initiatives and serves on the Board of Directors of Cancer, a non-profit focused on fighting pediatric cancer. He holds master’s degrees in civil engineering and multilingual business communication from the University of Ghent and is based in New York.
